KVSC is the perfect venue for like-minded people to gather when they come to experience the many attractions of the Australian Alps in summer. Escape the relentless summer heat and head up to Falls Creek, where it will generally be 10-15 degrees milder than down on the plains.

Our summer usage is expanding and members of the club welcome bushwalkers, mountain bikers, photographers, touring motorcyclists, field naturalists, martial arts students, bird watchers, a Dragon’s Abreast dragon boat crew, and high-altitude training for cycling, running, rowing and AFL football.

The new world-class mountain bike trails are particularly popular and a must-try for bike riders. While the pace of life on the mountain in summer is perhaps less hectic than the lively beat of winter, there is still an action-packed calendar of activities and events for you to choose from at Falls Creek. Or simply explore the stunning blanket of alpine wildflowers and breathe in the freshest, coolest air around.
